This song is partly famous for its appearance in the credit rolls of Justice Pao (1993). It also borrows lyrics heavily from a Tang dynasty poem 《宣州謝脁樓餞別校書叔雲》by 李白.

No evidence of any direct link between the two, just a similar sound for about eight bars.
They both stay squarely in the major pentatonic scales, contributing to the strong Eastern sound. Although on different starting beats, there is a distinct 3-5-6-5-3 entrance sequence that dances its way down to the 2, followed by a nearly identical refrain back down to the tonic.
From there the each song branches into its own path. None of these elements are unique to these two songs, but combined leave the listener with a spectre of hearing something familiar.
